Virgin Watermelon mojito



The season of watermelon is about to end. Before the season ends lets enjoy the heavenly watermelon mojito.  usually mojito is prepared with alcohol but here we are using sprite instead of alcohol. Sprite also can be replaced with club soda or 7up.  The quick making virgin watermelon mojito is an interesting beverage for unexpected guest, when you are not ready with any other beverages.and of course nothing more quenching in the summer than watermelon.



Virgin watermelon mojito is all about muddling the ingredients in a serving glass. It would be perfect for tea parties and any other get together.



Few people made virgin watermelon mojito with the juice of watermelon, minty sugar syrup , ice cubes and club soda. But its depends, how would you like to take it. i prefer muddle the ingredients. when tiny pieces of watermelon, muddled lime slices and mint leaves  touch your tongue , it create a refreshing sensation . Still choice is yours, you can make this beverage with watermelon juice. This virgin watermelon mojito is a mouth quenching drink as they are minty, light, refreshing and served with lots of ice .





Watermelon pieces– 3/4th cup (de-seeded)

Lime (large) –  1 no

Mint leaves – 10 no

Sugar – 3 tbsp

Ice cubes – 8 to 10 no

Club soda/ sprite – as required





Cut the lemon into slices ,reserve 2 slices for garnishing.

Combine chopped watermelon, lemon wedges, sugar and mint leaves and muddle it with a back of a wooden spoon.

Add crushed ice and shake it in a shaker then pour into a glasses .

Top with club soda or sprite, stir once.

Garnish with mint leaves and mint wedges, serve immediately.
