Few things can never be old fashion. They became better n better by time. Yes I am talking about salads. Salads are simple , easy to make and soul satisfying too. Easy and quick doesn’t mean you will compromise the taste. Nahhh, salads are of course healthy and delicious.
When summer is on peak and nobody wants to get into kitchen then what better than a quick, fresh and filling salad. And of course blessing for them who are in diet. This time when our Healthy Wellthy theme is salad, I noticed making salads are not a tough task at all, they can be taken as breakfast and as well as lunch.
Addition of Dill leaves with the chickpea makes this salad flavor able and healthy. This salad is free from heavy dressing, equally refreshing and packed with flavor. I m gonna make this again, what about you.

- 1 cup Chickpea (boiled & cooled)
- 1 medium no Red onion chopped)
- 1 no green chili (finely sliced )
- 2 tbsp Dill leaves (chopped finely)
- 1/4th tsp crushed peppercorns
- a handful of pomegranate arils
- 3 tbsp mayo
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- as per taste salt

- In a big, wide bowl combine boiled chickpea , pomegranate (if using) , green chili, onions and dill leaves.
- Add salt, crushed pepper , toss well.
- Finally add mayo and lemon juice toss well and serve immediately.
- Enjoy !!!
