Hello pals !
We all know beetroot and eagerly buy them for their colour and nutrients. Whenever I go to market I always pick some beetroot from the vendor. Except salad and vegetable chop I had never made anything extra with them. Though I know, including beetroots in daily meal is a great idea as it detoxifies your body and of course these are completely fat free & low in calories.
I must say that there is a misconception about beetroots that these are sweet in taste and diabetics can’t have it. Beetroots are packed with fiber and mineral which are essential for good health.
Sometime I ask myself, “Is my family eating healthy foods” ? As my in-laws are Bengali they always demand deep fried food and forget about calories? Kids nowadays have become most smarter . They usually want junk foods and deep fried recipes which are not good for them. They easily get attracted to junk food. And Elders are also naughty and don’t have control on their tongue.
When it comes to beetroot I always think what special to make using it. Last time I made beetroot halwa and beetroot sheera, which are tried and loved by many of my readers. Well I am sharing an easy and low calorie beetroot tikki recipe which will be loved by kids and adults both. These tikkies have a pleasant colour ,carry an awesome taste and are made with a very less oil.
