We all love cookies, isn’t it? We got many varieties of cookies in market. I remember when I was a kid, whenever I go to Bakery and always pick 7 to 8 packet of cookies. My mum always asked me what will you do with lot of cookies and I simply smile and purchase them. I gulped varieties of cookies and used to have them every now and then.

Nowadays we all having cookies in our pantry. We always need 1 or 2 cookies with our morning tea every day. These cookies are so versatile that they can be given to kids, guests and can be a part of small tea parties.

Now we have lot of bakeries in our town and all are assuring us that they are using best quality product and healthy ingredients. But we know nothing can beat the homemade ones. With easy available ingredients, if we can make healthy cookies and make our family eat something very hygienic. Isn’t it great?

I have already shared few cookies recipes before but this is something different. This is delicious and my daughter’s favorite. I made these cookies with homemade butter, ata and desiccated coconut. I hope my viewers will like these and give it a try.

Instructions
  1. Sieve whole wheat flour, salt and baking soda thrice, keep aside.
  2. Preheat the oven at 180°c.
  3. Cream butter , sugar and cardamom powder till they mix well.
  4. Add coconut powder to it and cream them well.
  5. Finally pour sieved ingredients and mix with a spatula.
  6. Now take some portion from the dough and shape it as you like. Repeat with rest of the dough.
  7. Keep them in a cookies sheet, keeping little gap in between. Bake them for 20-25 minutes till the cookies turn light brown in colour.
  8. Cool them and keep them in an airtight container. Enjoy with tea or coffee.
