Coconut ladoos are extremely easy to make and no doubt delicious. These are the healthy version of coconut ladoos made using ripen papaya but without condensed milk..within 10 minutes the delicious looking ladoos are ready.
But nowadays everyone is in fusion mood so any flavor can be added with coconut for making ladoos.
The papaya coconut ladoos are totally dairy free…no condensed milk,
no milk and no paneer .
Total three ingredients and just 7 minutes and the healthy delicious ladoos are ready.
This ladoos are heathy and looksgood too.i ven’t use any artificial colour. The orange colour of these coconut ladoos are purely natural.why not these papayas are from my kitchen garden.
Thats the reason i got a beautiful natural looking colour of the ladoos.
Chopped papaya – 2 cups
Desiccated coconut – 1 heaped cup
Milk powder – 3tbsp
Powder Sugar – 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
Desiccated coconut – 1/4th cup for rolling the ladoos
METHOD OF PREPARATION ::
Take the chopped papaya cubes and blend it in a food processor and make puree.
Strain the puree and transfer it to a nonstick pan.
Stir occasionally taking care that the puree isn’t sticking bottom of the pan. Add cardamom powder and mix once.
Stir for 5-7 minutes More till the papaya puree leaves the sides of the pan.
Add powder sugar and coconut powder and stir immediately .mix well with pureed papya.
Mix till the mixture seems like a dough.
Add milk powder ,mix well and remove from the gas.
Cool this mixture a bit.
Apply oil in palms and form into round ladoos.
Roll these balls on dessicated coconut powder and keep these in a air tight cointainer .
