Chocolate cake that too egg less, isn’t it blissful ? Yes totally blissful. And why not be….? It is a good news for the vegetarian people and also for those who don’t eat eggs.
It is the birthday of my elder sis-in-law and she is very special to our family as she is the elder sisterof my hubby. She is very sweet and very special to me too. She is not only sweet for us but also sweet for everyone, very simple personality and sober in nature.
She is staying far away from us and my in-laws miss her a lot. So to celebrate her birthday I made chocolate cake for her, so that my in-laws never feel her absence.
On her birthday what could be better than a wonderful chocolate treat.I know she loves chocolate and will love my sweet gesture I made for her.
It doesn’t cointain eggs but doesn’t mean that it is not moist . Do try once , it will be a fluffier chocolate cake ever.
All purpose flour – 1 cup
Baking powder – 3 ½ tsp
Cocoa powder – 3 tbsp
Brown sugar – ½ cup
Strong coffee – ½ tbsp
Thick Curd – 4 tbsp
Chocolate essence – ½ tsp
Milk powder – 3tbsp
Luck warm water – ½ cup
Oil – 1 /2 cup
Salt – 2 pinches
METHOD OF PREPARATION ::
Grease a 8” tin and set aside.
Preheat the oven at 160’c for 10 minutes.
Sieve flour , cocoa powder, Coffee, salt and baking powder together for 3-4 times.
Take oil and brown sugar in a bowl, beat till the sugar dissolves completelty.
Add curd, chocolate essence beat for a while.
Add milk powder to the warm water , stir so that milk powder will disslove with water.
Add this mixture to the above beaten mixture and again beat it for 30 seconds.
Gradually add sieved ingredients and fold gently.
Pour the batter into prepared cake tin , bake it for 25- 30 minutes.
Check by inserting a toothpick.
