This is not the first time I am preparing something with dark chocolate. But for my blog this is my first recipe using chocolate.
This idea comes to my mind when I participated in a Facebook group event. I was given the chocolate as the main ingredient and the time was too short. I was planning to make mousse but
Unfortunately I didn’t ve any cream with me . Opened my refrigerator and got half bottle of condensed milk. Scratched my mind. And finally decided to make this one. This recipe was easy and can be prepared in less time.
So sharing the recipe here. Let’s start.
Dark chocolate – 200 gram
Desiccated coconut – 4 cups
Condensed milk – 250 gram
Power sugar – 2 tbsp
vanilla essence – 2 tsp
Butter – 2tsp
white chocolate – 1/4th cup (chopped)
Method of preparation :-
In a bowl take desiccated coconut, power sugar,vanilla essence and condensed milk. Mix well using your hands.
Form into equal sized balls and freeze it for an hour until farm.
Chop the dark chocolate bar into pieces and keep aside.
In a microwave proof glass bowl take the chopped chocolate pieces and butter.
Microwave it on high power For 1 minute.
Take it out and stir it contentiously.
The chocolate pieces will started to melt.
If still some pieces of chocolate doesn’t melt, microwave it for 15 second on high power.
Now stir again till there are no single piece of chocolate remains.
Dip this balls into melted chocolate and let the chocolate coat the coconut balls completely.
place these balls on a plate lined with butter paper.
Refrigerate it for 15 minutes.
In a microwave safe bowl temper the white chocolate .
Take them out and with a help of a spoon draw the lines on these balls using melted white chocolate.
Refrigerate it for another 15 mints and your Bounty balls are ready now.
