Eggless cherry cupcakes


Do you love beautiful , red cherry ?? i am crazy about cherries ! I keep buying them with the idea that i will make some good dishes using them, but by the time I am ready to use them,  they are gone again !



Cherries are so beautiful and a clear example of God’s grandeur. Fruits help us according to their shape in resemblance with human body. cherries have a very short life after harvest. cherry season comes and goes with the blink of an eye. Cherries are a nutritional powerhouse fruit with so many incredible health benefits.



There are two types of cherries i.e.sweet and tart (sour).they  may be either deliciously sweet and deep brown-red, or quite tart and bright red. Sour cherries have a lower sugar content and a higher acid content than its sweet counterpart. Not surprisingly, sour cherries are slightly less caloric than sweet cherries.



it is always best to eat sweet cherries in raw form.where sour cherries are used in making desserts, tart and pies. Because sour cherries develop a fuller flavor when they’re used in cooking, they are used widely for baking. Check out my cherry shortbread cookies here.

  1. Grease and line cup cake tins.
  2. Preheat the oven at 170'c for 10 minutes.
  3. Sieve all purpose flour, Baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon powder together.
  4. In a mixing bowl combine oil and powder sugar.
  5. Using a electric beater beat it till mixture turns creamy and seems fluffy
  6. Add curd and vanilla essence ,beat for few seconds more.
  7. Add cherries and fold with a help of spatula.
  8. Add sieved dry ingredients followed by milk and fold well.
  9. Make a dropping consistency batter.
  10. Pour the batter into cup cake tins .
  11. place whole cherriers on the top of each cupcakes.
  12. Bake these at preheated oven for 30-40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  13. Mine was done at exactly 30 minutes.
