Love to make cookies or love to distribute cookies among friends ??? then must try these golden goodies and distribute them among your dear ones. I bet, the person who will take  a little bite of it will definitely fall in love with it and can’t deny to have a second bite .

These are definitely not a Christmas bake, I too made these cookies to send to my dearest sis in-law as a gift. These cookies are absolutely baking soda free and contain a little amount of baking powder. But if you completely skip adding baking powder then also no change is noticed in the looks and texture of these cookies.

These cookies are absolutely delightful and contain the goodness of cashew nut. I got this recipe from a small book, each time I try these the result is always awesome. These are not only kids friendly but adults can also enjoy these with tea and coffee. Let’s start making these cookies.

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven at 200c.
  2. Line parchment paper on a baking tray.
  3. Sieve flour, baking powder together.
  4. Beat butter and powder sugar until light & creamy.
  5. Add vanilla essence in between and beat for few more seconds.
  6. Add 3 tbsp of cashew, mix with a spatula.
  7. Add flour and mix gently to form a dough.
  8. Form into small balls , flatten a little.
  9. Brush the top of the cookies with milk and sprinkle rest of the cashew nut pieces.
  10. Arrange these cookies on a greased trey, keeping 1” apart.
  11. Bake at preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
  12. Remove from the trey when they are slightly cold.
  13. Enjoy !!!
Recipe Notes
  •  These cookies can be stored up to 1 month.
  • butter can be replaced with margarine.
