pizza sauce

 

A name that brings water to every mouth, be it your kiddo or his granny or you. It is definitely one of the most popular foods in the world. We just keep devouring delicacy day after day but actually know a little about the history of this food.. Making pizza at home is fun, especially when kids are around you, just keep ready pizza base with you, tell your kids to do rest of the things…spared pizza sauce, pour cheese and throw topping…then bake.. isn’t it funny and easy.

 

Whether you are using ready made pizza base or homemade, one thing is very important, that is pizza sauce. Why to buy pizza sauce from stores when you can make it at home . it is quick and easy. It can be prepared within the rasing time of your pizza dough. Let’s learn how to make it at home.

 

 

 INGREDIENTS ::

  • Tomatoes – 4 no
  • Garlic – 4 no
  • Onion – 1 no
  • Green chillies – 2 no
  • Red capsicum – ½ no
  •  Chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Oregano – 1 tsp
  • Red chilli sauce – 1/2 tsp
  • Tomato ketch – 2 tsp
  • Sugar – ½ tsp
  • Oil – 2tbsp
  • Salt & pepper – to taste

 

 

METHOD OF PREPARATION ::

Rinse and chop tomatoes into small pieces.

Chop onion , garlic and bell pepper into tiny pieces.

Heat oil, add a  little chilli flakes then saute garlic for 10 seconds.

Add onion and fry till they turn translucent.

Add bell peppers ,tomatoes and salt.

Cook covered till the tomatoes get cooked and mussy.

The process may take 20-25 minutes ,keep the flame low.

Add all the dry seasoning  when there is a little water left ..

When water completely dries up , add sugar  , mix well and turn  off  the gas.

Cool it and blend this using a hand blender or a mixie.

Your pizza sauce is ready…
