No Bake Watermelon CupCakes

Summer is at the doorstep and  kids are out of the school. Summer can be crazy and exhausting .But you can make the summer interesting and preserve some good memories of childhood. It is the great time to help   children learn new things. Children also thrive on opportunity to try new things. Today I am sharing a dish which takes a few minutes to prepare. The special thing is you can involve your kid to prepare this dish. They will learn something new , and will be very happy to prepare this.

 

 

 

33rd foodie Monday blog hop has introduced a very unique theme i.e.No Fire Cooking. The dish which doesn’t involve cooking and baking. In summer I personally like to stay away from Fire. So I chose a dish which is perfect pleasant treat for summer, as nobody has any interest to go to kitchen and cook. Refreshing food is the only way to cool down.

 

Summer has a  beautiful gift for us i.e. watermelon, which helps us stay hydrated and cool during heat. Watermelon is loaded with water plus it is an excellent source of electrolytes, sodium and potassium. So here I present chilled watermelon cup cakes to beat the heat.

 

Kids friendly  and adult pleasuring ,No bake water melon cupcake requires few minutes to prepare and I bet this dish will turn your  table into a heaven. It is a perfect treat on hot days. No matter how it is prepared, how you eat or how you present- this dessert is always a pleasing and refreshing treat.

INGREDIENTS :

Watermelon – ½ no

Whipping cream – 3/4th cup

Black salt – 1/8 th tsp

For garnishing ::

Few dried blueberries

Few sugar coated fennel seeds

Few scoops of watermelon

METHOD OF PREPARATION ::

First of all cut the watermelon into 2” thick circles.

Place the circular watermelon on a plate , using a cookie cutter cut out the cupcake sized circles of melon.

Place the circular cupcakes in wide container , sprinkle some black salt, cover it and chill it for an hour or till you are ready to serve.

Chill the metal bowl and the beater for half an hour.

Beat the whipping cream on high speed until the cream form soft peak and became fluffy.

Spoon the cream into a piping bag with a decorative nozzle of your choice.

Take out the watermelon cup cakes and place them in individual cupcake case or in individual small plates.

Pipe a swirl of cream onto a watermelon piece.

You can place another piece of watermelon on the piped cream then again pipe another swirl  of cream on top. This is only a variation, it depends upon your choice.You can make single cupcake too.

Sprinkle sugar coated fennel seeds, blueberries or watermelon scoops on top.

Serve immediately.

 

 

 

 

NOTE ::

  • Instead of whipping cream ,butter cream or cream cheese frosting can be used.
  • For garnishing you can select the toppings of your choice, but fresh berries taste great.
  • Chocolate chip, fresh berries, sprinklers can be used for topping.
